A Word About The Birds

All bird carvings are painstakingly hand carved from Basswood and depict the particular species in the most realistic manner with fine feather detail and natural poses. Each carving is nicely mounted, normally on selected pieces of prepared driftwood or weathered wood.

Bases are created out of beautiful simulated stone or sometimes of stained and finished wood. Most customers prefer the simulated stone which has various color patterns and adds to the attractiveness of the finished piece.
